Hi! We’re Ash and Alex!

We started asynchappy to explore a new way of working that brakes away from the norm.  Mainly because the norm sucks! 

As two ops guys, the frustration with meetings, firefighting tasks, and constant distraction is all too real.  While checking out new ways of improving things we found asynchronous communication and the penny dropped; this is how teams should work!  So we reviewed how async/sync our current workplaces were and found that so much could be improved.

As we began implementing async values and policies into our workplaces we started seeing improvement in workflow, capacity, project management, the challenges of remote working, and time for focused work. But we also found that it’s not exactly straight forward and there aren’t a lot of resources to help guide us. So we wanted to start a community to encourage and help business leaders adopt and implement async.

asynchappy.com is for people who know communication in their workplace should be better and can make it happen.  Whether you’re a company exec, decision maker, ops, HR, you share the frustration of constant meetings, having problems dumped on your lap, and a lack of structure to your communications; we’re here to tell you, we feel the same and we want to change it.
